A little more about me

it's more than just pretty pictures

Once upon a time I was just a lowly multidisciplinary creative designer. I'd listen, learn and question in the first instance (sounds familiar doesn't it), taking the strategic view of the opportunities insightful design can create. Trying to understand a client’s pain points and to deliver work that adds tangible value through every project and piece of design. 

Heck, when I grew up I knew I wanted to be a UX Designer!

So that's what I do now. I design with an awareness of every touchpoint that makes up the overall experience with your product or service. That awareness is rooted in a deep understanding of the user.

So what else have I done?

I've been around

I helped start up and run an advertising studio back in Scotland for 11 years before moving to Sydney. For the last 10 and a bit years I helped build up and lead a small design studio, working for clients like AstraZenica, Johnson & Johnson, Eli Lilly, Novartis, Diversified Communications and McAfee to name but a few.
